Digital Garden

Welcome

Hey welcome to the new iteration of my website! I've been developing a lot of stuff privately, and I want to release some of the features I've been using daily. I've played aroound with the concept of a digital garden for oh I guess like a couple years now, going through various tools like Quartz, Obsidian, wikis and so forth and have gotten pretty settled into Eleventy here. I have some templates and configuration dialed in to where I like it in my private journaling site and now I'm going to be using the same method with a more public website here.

What's a digital garden?

I don't know exactly who originated this whole concept, but Maggie Appleton seems like she might be close to the source. This post is a good history of the term. It's a method or a way to develop a website or other set of documents, planting ideas and then developing them into bigger things. Kind of halfway between a blog and a wiki.
