Blogging is Dead

Ive heard that blogging is dead, and yet I keep coming back to it. I’ve been blogging since at least 2001 I guess, which is when I first signed up for LiveJournal. I don’t think we called it blogging, but that’s essentially what it was. I’ve been through a few platforms since then, including Wordpress which I spent many years on. Eventually I got out of the habit and stopped updating, it must have been around 2012 or so I guess? Which is about when Facebook got big and everyone moved to that.

Now I’m off FB and back onto my own self hosted eleventy site…
